The Miz Workout

THE MIZ - The Miz finally lived up to all of his boasting at Money in the Bank when he bested seven of Raw's top Superstars to grab the coveted briefcase. Now, when will The "Awesome One" cash in?
My workout is simple. I make sure I workout each body part at least once a week, plus I make sure I get at least three days of cardio, whether it’s from 30 minutes on the precore or wrestling training at DSW. So here’s my workout – remember, you have to find what works for you. This is the workout that works for me.
Chest - I usually work this body part by itself. I used to use only free weights, but lately I’ve gotten away from them and now I’m using more Hammer Strength machines. Normally I do five different exercises of three sets each, which totals 15 sets. Sometimes I do more it just depends on how I feel. Like:
3 sets Hammer Strength flat - 10 reps
3 sets Hammer Strength incline - 10 reps
3 sets Hammer Strength decline - 10 reps
3 sets Cable machine raise ups - 10 reps
3 sets Butterfly machine - 10 reps
Back - I work this one alone as well. I’ve always used machines for my back because I’ve always heard that the back is the easiest to injure, especially when you’re lifting heavy.
3 sets Cable rows - 10 reps
3 sets Pull down machine - 10 reps
3 sets Pull ups on a bar - try for 10 reps
3 sets Machine rows - 10 reps
3 sets Lower back machine - 10 reps
Biceps and shoulders - Sometimes I workout one body part a day, but when I don’t have time I mix shoulders and bis together.
Biceps:
3 sets Preacher curls - 10 reps
3 sets Dumbbell curls 1 arm alt. - 10 reps
3 sets Reverse barbell curls - 10 reps
3 sets Bicep machine - 10 reps
Shoulders:
3 sets Dumbbell press - 10 reps
3 sets Front shoulder raises - 10 reps
3 sets Standing dumbbell side lat raises
3 sets Standing rear delt flies - 10 reps
Triceps and traps - The only thing I really do for my traps are dumbbell raises and I’ll get on a trap machine. Normally I try for some supersets just because I don’t know too many exercises so I blow them up and actually feel it.
Triceps:
3 sets Cable machine rope pull downs
3 sets Cables standing tri extensions
3 sets 1 arm pull downs - 10 reps
3 sets Dip machine - try for 10 reps
3 sets Dumbbell pull overs - 10 reps
Legs - Before coming to DSW, I used to do my legs every week, but nowadays my legs are so sore from our training that I really don’t lift weights with them. Those 500 squats usually give a pretty damn good workout.
This is just an outline of my usual weekly workouts. I change my workouts a lot because I’m the type of person that gets bored of the same thing. So I try to mix it up and take out one thing and insert another. As for the 10 reps, I honestly try to get 10. Sometimes I get eight or six, depending on how heavy I’m lifting. I also steal exercises from people at the gym.
